MAT 25:36-  I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.

Greetings to all in the name of Jesus. We are ChristSong; A music and teaching prison ministry based in Western North Carolina. We know that this is God’s Ministry. We are humbled and privileged to know that He uses us; especially our past and our pain. What the enemy intended for evil, God uses for good; touching hearts for His glory.

“This is a prison ministry that God developed using my past experiences; because I was released from prison in 1995 and  a short 2 years later in 1997, I was called and led by God to go back into prisons with the wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am a true native of these “walled cities”.  I know and speak their language. I have sat where they sit, I’ve eaten what they eat, and have waited for mail and visits that never came. The inmates recognize that through Christ, I am beating the odds. God has truly changed my heart.

Through His ministry, we have a singing trio, ChristSong. The Holy Spirit uses our music to soften hearts along with our testimonies to offer inmates a new hope….the hope that only a life with Jesus can bring. When He sets us free, we are free indeed!

I think you will agree that our ministry is different, but God uses us in a mighty way to spread the Gospel, to see souls saved and to call Christians to “Arise and Be Counted” and become His “Soldiers of the Cross”.

Praise God For His Tender mercies!

Although this is primarily a Prison Ministry, we have found that when we visit churhes to share our vision, God uses us to minister to His people outside the walls. We see hurting and wounded brothers and sisters who are living in their own “Walls of Shame”.  Some have never truly accepted our Father’s forgiveness. They know they are forgiven, but can’t forgive themselves. Some have become complacent, never knowing their true purpose, unable to find the peace and joy that comes with doing what God has called them to do.  Then there are some that are living in active addiction and sin, that hear the call of the Lord to repentance. We see many Commitments and Recommitments to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Through the songs, testimonies and Bible teaching He uses ChristSong in the Churches to  encourage, and speak to His People a unconventional way. We have learned that where He sends us, He has a pupose.

There is no rehabilitation like being born again in Christ. It is our mission to lead those in prison to a life-changing encounter with the living God. And to those outside the walls, to remind His People of the joy and hope of their Salvation.“

 WITH HEARTFELT GRATITUDE:

Though we have answered God’s call of “Whom shall I send?” with “Here I am Lord, send me;”  we have come to realize the true effectiveness of this ministry is absolutely due to the continued support of the Body of Christ. In the Books of the New Testament (Romans 12 & I Corinthians 12), God has made it quite evident the Body has need of the Body. An eye cannot perform all the functions for the entire body nor can the feet, hands, mouth, etc… It takes the whole body working together to function at its best. With that said, it is our earnest expectation, Body of Christ - WE NEED YOU! We value the role each of you have to play in God’s plan and purpose for this ministry.

And for all those that have already sown seeds into this ministry -WE THANK YOU! Whether by your seeds of prayer, words of encouragement, congregational love-offerings or personal financial support; the cause of Christ has been able to march on. Remember as your seeds are sown into this ministry - the Sower of the seed becomes an active participant in winning lost souls for Christ as well as providing healing & restoration for the wounded within the Body of Christ. How Awesome is That!! A word to the wise, never ever underestimate the power of the seed you have to give - from the least to the greatest God can and will multiply the seed sown. And even greater than that, your seed has the ability to reap eternal rewards. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
